When dogs arrive, they go outside to potty, then rest in a kennel until they are settled down from the excitement of arrival, about 15-30 minutes. They then go into playtime with a group of their friends in one of our two outside play yards. We operate in small groups and like to keep the groups at 8 but will increase to 10, depending on the dogs in the group. We operate by “crate & rotate” a standard practice by most facilities in our industry. This is so the play groups do not get too big and over stimulated. We have an intimate clientele, the dogs have favorite friends they enjoy seeing and playing together with on a regular basis. We base the groups on size, age, personality and energy level. At 4pm dogs go into nap mode; we use this time to do face washes and body evaluations.
